One of the guarantees of the development of Smart Cities are their citizens. Citizens who are not only functioning and “live” in the administrative borders but also create the city co-create cities in their full dimension. We often simplify the ideas of the so-called Smart City, mistakenly identifying urban intelligence only with technological dimension, thus pushing residents to the margins of development. Only a coherent and comprehensible ecosystem balancing social needs with technological solutions will be a success of properly developing cities.
